Hi.Me (Indian) and My wife(Malaysian) both PRs. I'm holding PR from last 8 years and My wife just completed her 3 years.. We went looking for few HDB's but agents are telling us different stories about cost. Can someone please be kind enough to provide breakdown for us for a house with $420k? We are eligible for 80% loan and have cpf around 80K in oa. Pls provide breakdown so we know how much cash we need in hand prior putting deposit anywhere. Thank you in advance

Hi,

For purchase of resale HDB for PRs, typical breakdown as follows:
Cash 5%
CPF 15%
Max bank loan 80%
Stamp duties & legal fees 8%
Agent fees 1%+GST
Misc admin fees 300

2) Down Payment: 20% (5% must be cash and 15% can be paid using CPF)
3) Legal Fee: Around $2800 to $3500
4) Stamp Fee: 3%
