Hi,

May I know which areas are you looking at? If your CPF is sufficient to cover 10% of purchase price and 3% stamp duties, and if you can also take 90% hdb loan, it could be possible. You might also be eligible for some housing grants. Thanks please let me know if you need further assistance.

Hi Geoffrey,

As a general guide, you will require up to $5000 cash for the deposit ($1000 option fee + $4000 option exercise fee) when making a purchase. Though in some cases, the amount may be lesser if both sellers and buyers mutually agree.

And following that, how much cash you require will be based on the amount of loan that you can get and how much you have in your CPF OA account.
