Hi, EC are still highly in demand but the current EC launches have many unsold units mainly because they are 5 bedders and maisonette units are around 1.2m and above and for income of 12k capped (which means loan of 800k), buyers need to fork out 400 to 700k in cash/cpf. So in a way, developers are caught by the change in financing rules. So if you are looking for a good buy/star buy (discounts), do consider buying an EC especially if you are a SC. Do note that buying an EC is a privilege for a selected group of SC buyers. If your income is too high, you also cannot buy. However, when buying a home, other than prices, the location of the home must be also be taken into consideration. So it really is what you need. Do give me a call @
