Hi Shi Jun,

In general, under current HDB policy, you can go ahead to buy a HDB from the open market using bank loan (you cannot take HDB loan). You can buy the new private property before or after you have purchased your HDB unit, BUT, you have to stay in the HDB for at least 3 years before subletting it out. You can sell the HDB after 1 year.
