Hi,
would like advices to know if I should be buying another flat again.
Apparently, we bought our current EA (our 2nd flat & using HDB loan) 3 years back. However due to some reason, we are now finding it too big.
Is it advisable to buy another flat now (we are eligible as we're on old scheme), which I will have to do bank loan, given that my hubby & myself is already 38yrs old.

Morning Yvonne,

People move on when requirement changes. By staying in a unit that you are not contented with can be unwelcoming, after a hard day work. Since you have purchase your unit in 2009, which is before the release of new ruling, it would be good for both of you to work on what's your next preferred housing type and estate. Since you are downgrading, I would believe the financial aspect should be sound. However, if you require further discussion, feel free to give me a ring.

Dear Yvonne,

There is no hard and fast rules about downsizing or upgrading, as long as your family is comfortable with it.

If your concern is about the pricing, rest assured that EA is being highly sought after these days as the HDB has ceased the production of such units.

If you are keen to explore, do give me a call for discussion as I'd like to share with you a checklist for HDB owners to sell their units in trying to enhance the valuation of property. This checklist was designed by my team of dedicated salespersons with years of experience in this industry.

Hi Yvonne,

i understand your concerns right now. why not let me have a discussion with you, and i will show you the prices of the locations you are interested in, as well as try to work out the monthly instalments you will be financing your next house with. After you get a clearer picture, perhaps then you can decide whats best for you. Buying a home is a major decision, let me have a non obligatory discussion with you before you commit to anything else. thank you
