Hi, we owned a 11yrs old HDB flat which has just been fully paid off. This is a resale unit which we bought and had stayed for 5 yrs. We plan to upgrade to EC but we do not have cash for the 20% downpayment.
We cannot sell the HDB now and use the cash to pay for the downpayment while waiting for the T.O.P of the EC.
Can we pledge our flat to secure some forms of bridging loan and pay off the loan once we collect the key for the EC and sell off the HDB? Or any good suggestions?

Try using our saving plan,

You should sell your HDB? Why take a look at news in Singapore. COV is lower as we go month by month.

Sell at the highest and go rent a place for 3 years. Why? You secured the flat by selling highest and locked in your profit.

Government also coming after EC as they might twist the plan for EC. Read More
