Hi, we are looking to move to Singapore in July/Aug for 2 years. We would be looking for a house (all paid directly by the company). When would be the best time to visit in order to view houses? How long does it take for paperwork etc to go through? Many Thanks

You may come in May or June period if you are very selective of the house you are renting, otherwise all can be settled within 2 weeks. I have recently concluded 3 cases all move in within 2 weeks.

Tenants can visit http://bit.ly/SGExpatRental (Official Rental Requirements - Singapore Expatriates) to indicate your rental requirements.

Afternoon,

Standard paperwork and documentation for rental should be completed within 2 calendar weeks. Depending on your requirement, you should be able to secure a suitable unit within a week or two.

Do feel free to contact me should you require additional assistance.

Hi

Our fastest record for documentation is within 24 hours for individual lease - from the time the offer is accepted to the signing of an agreement. Having said, a good time frame for documentation can be within 1 to 2 weeks on a straight forward rental transaction.

As for corporate leases, it generally takes a bit more time. This is depended on the types and structure of an organisation. For example, the deposit may take 2 days to a week to process eg payment is direct from Hong Kong or USA. Or the tenancy agreement may require the managing director signature who may not be available as he may be away.

You will need to find out from your company on the internal processes.

A general guide may be 3 - 4 weeks for the documentation.

You may write to gavin.ng@orangetee.com for further inquiries

Hi

I am Steven.

I have in the past 2 years assisted many expats, singles, couples and families in the accommodation in Singapore.

The process is very simple and straight forward.

I have a special process that will help you find your ideal Home away from home, in less than a week, averaging 3 days.

I have helped a couple to find their rental home in 1 day.

give yourself a comfortable 1 month prior to actual moving in to source, view, negotiate, plus paper work.

Do write to me via email and I will share with you my work process.
