We are a PR couple looking to buy an HDB. However due to the recent rule imposed by the government, I cannot buy a property unless I dispose off my existing property. I do have an apartment in my name in my home town (India). So if I gift this property to my sibling, will that make me eligible to buy an HDB in Singapore?
