Hi to all gurus. I was recently considering buying a HDB in Toa Payoh. But this is the thing. The HDB costs $700K. So do you thing it is worth it? And by the way, its a mansionette. Please advise. I'm really confused?

Afternoon,

You are buying a property of around 135sqm for $700k, which is around $500 psf. It's located in TPY, one of the busiest housing estate, though I'm not sure of the exact location.
You would have to ask yourself some questions: What is your current financial status? Do you require such sized unit? What are your future plans? What are the factors and concerns that are troubling you?

    I totally agree with you. The bank is allowing me a loan up till $900k. But the condos now days are real expensive and small. My Family has 6 members, thus we need more space and have opted for a HDB instead. But in the near future, of lets say, 6 years i planned to buy a private properrty. Thus, is it advisable?
