Hi Sir/Madam, Recently my mum had applied for an open booking flat as a single scheme, however, my mum forgot to add on the occupier detail which is 32 years below, what should my mum do? Does the occupier need to take a statutory declaration form if unemployed? by the way, my mum had already received the ballot number. please advice.

Hi Pearl,

1) This should not be a big issue. Since this occupier does not affect the buying eligibility and has no ownership of the flat.
2) Your mum can add this on the flat selection day if possible.
3) In the worst case she can always add this occupier in this flat upon key collection.
4) Adding in an occupier is a simple step that can be done via MYHDB.
5) There is no need for the occupier to make any declaration since the occupier is not committed to the financing of the flat.
