Hi,

Resale levy is payable by cash only, and will be offset from your sales proceeds of the current hdb (assuming positive sale). There's no workaround for this and you can't use cpf or loan for resale levy. The only way to avoid it is to opt for non-subsidized hdb or ec without resale levy.

Evening,

If your current unit have being purchased through the resale market using bank loan, have good credit credit and income does not exceed the caps, you are eligible for HDB loan. The down payment is 10% by CPF. However, you will have to settle the option and exercise fee by cash. Not forgetting items like HDB admin fee, valuation report, commission fee, tax refund and insurance by cash.
