seems like you dont have a representative to protect your best interest in the purchase.

Usually if I represent a buyer, I will state maximum a day for the sellers to decide in the offer to purchase. Having say that, the duration is up to individual.

Dear buyer,

If you think your offer is too good to be rejected, then 1-1.5 days is an optimum time frame for consideration, especially if vendor is not an individual but involve several decision makers. If your offer is still has a gap from expectations, do consider giving time for working out the options with the vendors. It is not a simple accept or reject case for some sellers, because they are likely required to work out their options after sale, if they are looking to purchase another unit.

Put it simply, there is no hard and fast rule, but if you do not trust the salesperson handling it for you, thinking that your offer will be using your offer to push other buyers, I'd say forget about making that offer since seller is not sincere.
