Hi CK

I handle a few EC projects and upcoming new one too. You may contact me for further assistance and advise.

There may be cases which is possible to appeal and your "few hundred dollars" exceeded by how much?

Hope to hear from you

Morning CK,

The general rule of thumb is that if your combined income do not exceed more than 5% of the income ceiling, you can write in to appeal for your case. However, do note that all appeal cases are subjected to approval.

Hi CK,

I do not wish to give you any false hopes based on past appeal cases. The regulations are there for a reason, but the rationale is if you don't even try to appeal, the success rate is definitely 0. Go for the appeal and see how it goes but do treat it as your approve will confirm be approved. Like your case, there are bound to be other similar cases submitted for appeal therefore if they have to approve all appeals, what would the situation be like?
