Hi , need kind advice.
I am keen to purchase EC The terrace but considering the location this is no levy as I am second timer. On the other hand I can select a BTO at Bidadari .
Which property is worth investing in BTO or EC?

Hi Mdm. Priscilla,

Both have their pros and cons, but Terrace will TOP much earlier. Are you looking to stay there for the long-term? If not, do note its a 2-3 year difference in terms of when it reaches MOP status (terrace vs bidadari BTO) and you can have more flexibility to realise the investment potential (either cash out or rent out) if that's part of your plan.

Also part of it is your lifestyle requirements. Is this important to your family? And is location near to your workplace? A lot more this is subjective as I guess you are buying more for stay.

May I have more info and requirements about your plans so to make better recommendations? Thanks and look forward to value-add to your housing plans.

Good afternoon Priscilla,

This topic is debatable between many buyers. Some have preference towards centralised located HDB while some towards EC.

Care to meet up over a cup of coffee so I can share further on the property market and its future prospects based on government plans. So from there, both of you can have a better idea which property is better for both of you in the long run in terms of investment perspective.

Hope to hear from you soon!

Dear Mdm Quek,

The topic is what I term as debating along the lines of features VS benefits. In order to be able to draw out that checklists to decide which is better, often we need to ask ourselves the objectives in purchasing the property and how do the different projects benefit us as a buyer aligned with our objectives.

I was explaining earlier to a buyer that being near a MRT Station is a feature, which does not benefit a buyer planning to buyer for long term stay and does not take MRT, or being near eateries does not benefit a buyer who is strictly eating home cooked meals.

Going along this line of considerations, you are likely to be able to draw a conclusion faster. I have full set of information to The Terrace too, if you do not have it, let me have your email perhaps I can share with you further?

Hi Priscilla,

It is really about your needs and objectives in the long term.

You mentioned in your question, asking which is worth investing? Is that why you are keen on Terrace EC?

Have you considered what are the available options open to you right now in this market? I believe there are plenty of opportunities in this current market. You just need to access all the options.

Before committing to any purchase, I would advise you to speak to someone who can give you a very clear roadmap, showing you what you should do at which juncture of your property investment journey.

Should you need any further assistance in matters relating to property, please contact me at my mobile 9748 6305  . I will be happy to be the one who can draft this roadmap for you.

Thank you.

Best regards,
Robbie Chen
