Hi, my wife is a PR. We have a HDB flat bought in 2007 and a private condo bought in 2010. Both houses are under mortgage and on joint tenancy. We would like to buy a 2 bedroom condo for investment and rent it out. I'm wondering if we would be forced to sell our HDB if we buy another unit since my wife is a pr ?

Afternoon,

IF you are an SC, the answer would be NO. Do note that the current loan amount for buyer's with 2 existing mortgage is only 40% where 25% must be cash, if you loan period does not exceed 30 years or 65 years of age.
