Afternoon Sean,

Yes, you are eligible to purchase private property without adding your spouse as the co-owner. Since this will be your first property holding, you are not liable for ABSD. Standard Stamp duty is however applicable.

Hi Sean,

You are eligible to purchase a private property only using your name. Stamp duty payable will be 3% of purchase price - $5400 (standard formula for any property with purchase price above $360,000)

Hi Sean,

Yes, you can buy any private condo with only your name. As you are 1st timer, is good as well since stamp duty only 3% (- $5,400).

Drop me an email with your preferred location, condo size type, budget and I will do a match for you with returned email.

Please feel free to drop me an email or call me directly for a non-obligation discussion, if you still have further questions.

Thank you & Best Regards
