Hi, My partner and I are divorcee and want to apply for a joint single scheme in the open market. We cannot afford to pay for the levy to the HDB, we had only $10K of cash and a combined CPF OA of $180K. We would like to buy a 3 Rm flat in woodland area. Kindly please advise the average transaction of the area.

Evening,

If both of you are eligible for HDB loan, you might not be required to utilize much cash. However, this is provided that neither of you have utilize HDB on your previous unit.
If you are looking into bank loan, you will be require to prepare 5% cash. Hence for $300k unit, you will need at least $15k cash.

    Hi, We both had to pay back 50% cash back to the HDB, if we want to get a loan from there and we are prepare to do so. After paying back to HDB, we left a balance of around 10k. Am 37 and my partner is 46 year old, and we hope our budget of getting a 3rm flat is around 26k to 28K.
