Hi, my husband is a divorcee n purchased a resale flat (with grant) during his 1st marriage; own a bto (apply under full custody with his 2 yrs old son after divorced). We got married5 yrs later after he apply his bto. May I know if we able to appeal from HDB for bto/ec? How the success rate?

Morning Mrs. Liang,

As your spouse have utilized both options for subsidized unit, both of you will not be eligible for BTO unit. You can try to appeal for the case but chances might be slim. You can look into resale unit instead.

The resale with grant and the bto your husband utilized are consider 2 time subsidized. Hence, no more BTO and EC.
