Hi,

With a comfortable cash buffer, you have plenty of options in your housing plans. However, some key questions will be:

1) Which locations are you looking at? With HDB, you have a lot more options and plenty of units near amenities and MRT. With private (resale EC), the choices are less.

2) Do you really envision yourself using the facilities frequently, as maintenance fees can be 200-300 per month, is it worth it?

3) Is your unit for long-term stay (10 years or more), or is there some idea of changing apartments further down the road to reap any potential capital appreciation?
