Do you mean by moving into the unit or signing the documents for the unit of your choice when you mention the term of securing a place? To sign the OTP for your choice unit, it would be highly possible, depending on your purchase requirement. But to move into a unit within two months, it's impossible as entire HDB S&P process will need at least 14 to 16 weeks.

Good afternoon, you can start house hunting 2 to 4 weeks before your fulfillment of 3 years SPR status as both of you are only able to sign on OTP after that.

Both of you have to fulfill SPR status of 3 years before you sign any legal document. Thus you have to wait till you are eligible. Hope it helps!
