It is important to do a loan assessment first to ascertain how much loan you are eligible for before deciding on the overall quantum of the property to purchase.

You will also need to include the Additional Buyer Stamp Duty of 15% into your financial plan. This is payable on top of the basic stamp duty which is slightly below 3%.
