If you require a bridging loan or cash proceeds from the sale of your property in order to obtaining funds to finance the purchase, the logical way out is to sell first, especially so in a sluggish HDB resale market where SPRs of less than 3 years is no longer eligible, making the pool of buyers even lesser.
