Thank you for your prompt response.
Contrary to your reply, I received HDB's official reply recently that amount of resale levy is based on 2 components (attached file HDB2 to HDB4) :-
1. Date of booking of 2nd flat AND
2. Date of sale of 1st flat.
For example, to enjoy the fixed amount resale levy, one must :-
1. Booked your 2nd flat on/after 3 MAY 2006 AND
2. Sold your 1st flat on/after 3 Mar 2006.
HDB informed that I was not entitled to the fixed amount resale levy because I booked my 2nd flat before 3 Mar 2006 even though my 1st flat was sold after 3 Mar 2006.
To date, my appeals via MP was also rejected by HDB. Wonder ProperryGuru & other similar postings in internet are aware of para 3 above ?
