Qn 1: Is it possible to submit our bank home loan application for new EC before our MOP date?

Ans 1: Yes

Qn 2: if yes, how early?

Ans 2: You can submit a bank loan application any time during your MOP.

Qn 3: is it true that the approved principle amount will be affected greatly because of we are still holding on to our flat?

Ans 3: No, it will not be affected as upon booking an EC, you are to submit an undertaking to sell your HDB within 6mths from TOP.

To answer your question more accurately, I would suggest you obtain the MOP date of your flat and whether your present flat is direct from HDB or resale, if resale, with or without grant?
