Hi, in general, all other things being equal, would a property that is near a hospital fetch higher or lower price than one that is further away? There are two big hospitals being constructed in Jurong East near IMM. Wondering if the price for the Toh Guan flats will drop?

Afternoon Alex,

Taking a look at SGH and NUH. Their location comprises of nothing much but hospital facilities. The HDB units nearer to SGH do have appreciation but on slower pace. Rental rates are good as hospitals generally are labour intensive. Units nearer to CGH and KTPH do also appreciate due to the amenities available. With growth of malls and amenities in Jurong East area, I would not see why the prices would depreciate. As a buyer, would you prefer to stay nearer to hospital or cementries?
