There is no single scheme for EC purchase, only joint singles scheme.

Hi Eugene,

1) To buy a new EC, you have to be eligible under the eligibility scheme listed by the HDB:
https://www.hdb.gov.sg/residential/buying-a-flat/executive-condominium/eligibility
2) Note that the Single Citizen Scheme is not under this eligibility list.
3) You won't have such a restriction if you are buying a resale EC.
4) You can only apply an HFE to buy a BTO or a resale HDB flat on your 35th birthday.

Hi,

For new EC, you can only purchase under joint singles scheme, and have to cross 35 years old first. If its for resale EC that has met the MOP of 5 years, you need not wait until 35 years old, can purchase now.

2. For resale EC that has fulfilled 5 years MOP, you can buy anytime if you are PR or Singaporean
