Hi, I'm single and below 35. My mother has passed and my father has sued me 3 times since my mother's passing. He has since taken an undertaking in court to stop harassing my friends, relatives and I, and to move out of our house. Because of this, the third and final suit from him was for us to sell of our house since he can't stay in it. So I've been renting homes for the past 3-4 years because I'm not allowed to buy a HDB because I'm not yet an orphan and I'm not yet 35. Is there a way to go about this? I've emailed HDB, and was rejected the very first time, I've since emailed them again but I would like to know if there's any other way I could buy a HDB instead of a private apartment. Thank you.

Hi,

I'm sorry to hear about your situation.

You could pay your MP a visit during one of the Meet-The-People sessions, to explain your situation. Get him/her to write you a letter (or you can write yourself) and get him/her to send the letter to HDB to appeal.

I am experienced and well-versed in both HDB and private transactions. I will be able to assist you in your property plans.

Should you need require further assistance in matters relating to property, please contact me at my mobile 9748 6305  . I will be happy to assess and share with you the possibilities for you in the current market.

Thank you.

Best regards,
Robbie Chen
