Hi, I'm a single SC under 35 interested in getting my own flat (currently looking at 2-room flexis). I have two older siblings who are also under 35, and we are all living in the same 5-room flat that both my parents are co-owners of. Is there any way for me to purchase a flat using any of their names before reaching 35?

Hi,

1) Unfortunately as of today, there is no scheme that is eligible for SC below 35 yrs old to purchase an HDB flat.
2) Even under the joint-single policy is also not suitable for your situation.
3) joint-single policy is for those who are orphan or widowed below 35yrs old buy with non-related and related who are also single, or with those who are above 35 yrs old but remain single to purchase.
4) Unless your siblings are already at or above 35 yrs old, they can join name to purchase under this scheme. You still cannot be an owner only can be occupier, meaning cannot utilize your CPF in this purchase.

Hope the above answer to your main concerns, but if there are more query, please feel free to contact me at 90110636  , or email: ling.ck7@gmail.com if more information is needed.
I'll be glad to assist.
