If you are looking at resale ECs in the East, you can focus in Whitewater and Esparis. Both of them are around 8 to 9 years old. There are quite a number of high floor units in Whitewater which I will be gladly assist you with the viewing arrangement. As for the financing wise, I can ask my banker to advise you on your in principle approval so you can gauge how much you can loan (80%). If provided you can obtain 80% bank loan, downpayment will be 20% (5% cash and 15% CPF or cash if shortfall. Other outlay will be estimated 3% buyer's stamp duty, $3k legal fee, valuation fee, stamp duty for mortgage etc. Do take note that you will be subject to additional buyer's stamp duty of 5% if both of you are SPR. 15% ABSD if you are purchasing it with a foreigner wife (higher of 5% or 15% (as a foreigner)).
