Hi, I'm a SC and my husband is a SPR. We are currently renting and want to purchase a resale HDB or private condo. I understand that my husband is liable to pay a 5% ABSD based on his SPR status. However, I also know that he can apply for remission if this is our first home. How should we proceed to get the 5% ABSD waived? Thanks.
