Morning Ms Lee,

You will not be applicable to ABSD as it is only applicable to Singapore residential properties bought (not taking in account the number of overseas residential properties one own.)

And you will also not be subject to it if you are buying your first property with your husband as government will treat it as your first matrimonial home. (PR is subject to 5% ABSD for first property)

But do take note that you have to dispose off the overseas property interest if you are buying a resale HDB. No issue for private.

Morning Sophia,

For your case, both of you are only eligible to purchase private property if you are looking at keeping your overseas property. Since this is the first property count for both of you in SG, ABSD is not required.

Hi Sophia

In your case, no ABSD is required. As for the first property which is bought by a SC & PR spouse, buyers only need to pay the 3% stamp fee.
