As long as it's a residential property, you are not allowed to purchase a HDB in Singapore. However HDB do give some concessions on extraordinary cases. You will need to submit an appeal to HDB for their consideration. Do contact me at 93375051  for a free and non obligatory consultation on this.

You can purchase a HDB resale flat if you form a valid family nucleus and fulfill all eligibility conditions.

Do take note that you will have to sign an undertaking to dispose off all interest in residential properties (both local and overseas) latest within 6 months of the HDB flat purchase.
