Hi, i'm, a divorcee, and currently looking for a home for me and my 2 yr old kid. m having difficultly getting a flat from hdb in renting nor buying. is there any alternative solution to my situation.

Would you like to elaborate your difficulty? E.g. Is it financial difficulty or some other forms of difficulty?

If you have custody of your child, you are definitely eligible to purchase a HDB resale flat.
