Hi, if I purchase a 5rm HDB Resale Unit through direct contact with the SELLER's agent and I have NO agents representing me as a Buyer. Am I required to pay the seller's agent a commission fees of 1% or so?

Afternoon Nana,

Under current CEA ruling, NO. As the seller's salesperson cannot represent you while representing his seller, you are not required to pay him the commission. However, do note that you will be responsible for the completeness of your paperwork and financial computation.
