Hi, if a HDB buyer agrees to 30 days extension and 3 months rent free stay for the seller. And when comes to submission of 1st appointment, the buyer and seller cannot agrees on the 1st appointment date because the seller wants to select a later date and 8 weeks completion. And the buyer wants to select an earlier date with 6 weeks completion. What options does the buyer have? Can the buyer insist on an earlier date with 6 weeks completion? Any consequences for the buyer if he insist?

Morning,

It would be good to consult your agent for that aspect as HDB will definitely work based on what have being printed on the standard HDB OTP when such dispute takes place.

Dear sir/madam,

I am unsure if you are agreeable, but to me, the whole experience of purchasing a home should be a pleasant one. If it has gone to such extent of disagreement, the entire vibes about moving into the new home is likely negative and for me personally, I will rather drop the whole purchase than carrying on feeling negative.

I strongly urge all parties to sit together on the table and work out an amicable solution. No doubt individual has their own legal rights to enforce and can explore doing so, but end of the day, what is the point of feeling upset when you should be excited over the new home?

Hi,

For me, I will always work out these issues before the issuance of the OTP, be it representing the Buyer or the Seller.

I feel that it is part of a professional real estate agent's job, to ensure that smooth transaction takes place, without all these hassles.

To me, Buying and Selling of properties should not be a stressful procedure. I believe that both Buyers and Sellers to be the Winner in the transaction.

Should you need any further assistance in matters relating to property, please contact me at my mobile 9748 6305  . I will be happy to assist.

Thank you.

Best regards,

Dear Buyer,

Re: Today’s SG Professional Choice- SGAgent.com & SGRealtor.com

It a norm as the HDB appt always put by the buyer then the seller finalized the 1st appt date. As seller wanna to obtain the right of the date of HDB 1st appt that all.

Just move to the 8 weeks if the seller finalized the 1st appt date and dun wanna to amend the date earlier. Just move on that all.
