Hi bluegal, ultimately, it depends what kind of job are you and your partner holding. Generally, if one is employed is a non-commission job, HDB will take the last 3 mths average income. If one is a self-employed or holding a commission based job, HDB will request the past 12mths income to assess your income eligibility.
