All Singapore Citizen has 2 chances to apply for BTO, and 2 chances to apply for HDB loan. This is the main objective of HDB, to assist all Singapore Citizen to own a HDB flat.

To buy resale HDB, as long as you fulfill the eligibility; form a family nucleus. You qualified this requirement since you are married.

Next thing is you have to know what grants you can apply to, this shall depends whether your husband is Singaporean or permanent resident. You will not be able to receive any grant if your husband is a foreigner.

Followed by did you own any BTO or DBSS or bought EC before etc, or receive any grants before to determine how many time you receive subsidies from government before.

All Singaporean only entitled to 2 times of such subsidy.

It is still possible to purchase resale HDB unit even though only one of the co-owner are working. The main things that you need to be concern of are:

1) How much loan can you obtain based on your income?
2) How much housing grant you are eligible for?
3) Are both or either of the intended co-owners Singaporean?
4) What is your current age?
