Hi,

i thinking of buying a resale flat in the East side as a First timer & i will be taking a CPF grant for Family as well.

Problem is there seems to be some high amt of COVs especially in Bedok & Pasir Ris for 5R & EAs

I have intention of selling after MOP, Would it be difficult to do so with high COVs around?

Also, im thinking of Buying a BTO after resale. Understand there will be a resale Levy & Would like to find out, How much will be the levy & if there's Any other possible charges that might incur..

Appreciate Gurus Advices !

Hi,

Theoretically speaking if you buy at higher price (with COV), you may find it harder to sell at a even higher price. It all depends on the location & unit you bought. If you are looking at capital appreciation potential, you may want to consider ECs/private condos instead of resale HDB.

If you buy a BTO after buying resale hdb with grant, a levy is payable, and for 5-room its 45K in cash with current policy. Thanks and hope to understand your requirements further and value-add to your housing plans.
