Hi, I’ve bought 2 resales HDB before and only used EHG once and Proximity Grant once. The current flat is only under my name and my husband is an occupier. My husband has never bought any flat at all before. Can the two of us apply for BTO eventually as a married couple? Will we be considered 1st timer or 2nd timer? Thanks!

You will be considered a 2nd timer in this case and resale levy will be applicable. Do check with HDB for specific details. It should be more helpful that way. Read More

Hi Petrina, we could actually appeal to HDB to have both of you as first timer with your husband name as the leading buyer asI have actually encounter a similar case before. However, you would still have to pay the levy for the grants you have gotten as well use a portion of your cash proceed in the venet you are using HDB loan.
