Hi,

For all property purchases, you will have to have a minimum of 25% downpayment, excluding all the stamp duties that you will incur. This is provided you can also qualify for max of 75% loan for the property.

Based on your current cash and CPF holdings, you could only probably purchase something that is below $300k, even though you could loan more.

Unless there an avenue where you can get in extra source of funds, I think it will be hard for you to find a private property that is under $300k in Singapore.

Dear sir/mdm,

Your cash and CPF portion makes up a total of $80k and considering that you have set aside additional funds for the miscellaneous fees like stamp duty, this $80k making up for the downpayment of 25% means your purchase price should be in the range of $320,000 maximum.

At the quantum price, I am afraid there is no units available to consider for a private home.
