Hi, I own a HDB flat (fully paid for) and intend to upgrade to a yet to be completed condo (TOP 2015/6). I plan to sell the flat once I obtain the keys to the condo. When do I have to pay the ABSD?

Hi Mr Kang

The ABSD will have to be paid a few weeks after you have exercised the 4% payment at the lawyer's office. And you could have it reimburse back to you after you sell off the HDB.

Hi Min Wong,

ABSD has to be paid within 2 weeks after you exercise the OTP via your law firm. Reimbursement will be done provided you sell your HDB within 6 months after keys collection of the condo in 2015/6.
