Hi, i just sold my private property last week. actually planning to get a HDB EA unit. But i am hesitate now because of the 5 years ruling, I afraid i can't do any property investment if the market drop. Now thinking to rent a unit to stay first. Can any one advise me.

I am afraid you cannot buy an EA now since you mentioned u just sold off your pte property last week. (with the new hdb ruling)
