Hi, I have sold my private apartment and have 450K usable amount for flat purchase. What HDB flat (around 5 years) could I purchase with this amount plus some cash top up. Pls advise, thanks.

Morning Dave,

To purchase resale HDB unit of 3 to 4 room is possible in alot of estate. The current issue: Is this $450k inclusive of CPF or purely cash and are you in your retirement age?

    Dear Mike,
    The $450K is purely CPF money and we in our retirement age. Nonetheless, I work in China, assisting and supporting my friend trading firm.
    For the balance amount on top of CPF, we could provide a Fixed deposit as collateral for the housing loan. Appreciate your advise on the options available for us, thanks.

    We do not want to use up our cash and prefer estate in the East like Bedok, Tampinese, Pasir Ris and places near the MRT.
