Hi I have recently purchased a newly built FH landed property. We were asked to pay for the land survey by the developer. We were concerned that the actual GFA is much smaller than what we were told. the surveyor refused to divulge the GFA saying that it's not their scope of work, they are only to indicate the land area as they are engaged by the developer. We have also requested for the architectural drawings which the developers is not releasing. As sales completion is in 2 weeks time, we are worried that we can no longer than any action as it's stated in teh option that any dispute on floor area has to be resolved by sales completion. Would really appreciate any advice on what we should do.
