Hi, I have received a grant for a BTO which I have previously cancelled before. The grant has been returned. Now I would like to apply for a resale flat with my husband who is a first timer. Am I considered first timer as well since the first one was for BTO and now I’m applying for resale?

If you have cancelled a BTO after signing agreement of lease, you will be barred from applying for another BTO or purchasing a resale within one year. After the 1 year debarment period is up, you will be considered a first timer and can proceed to purchase a resale with housing grants.
