Hi,
i have a room that i want to rent out. what is the procedures of doing so, any charges involved and what should i look out for ?

For HDB flat, you have to check whether the validity of the tenant's pass. After signing Tenancy Agreement, you have to notify HDB through online registration within 7 days. No charges for room rental. Stamp duty usually to be paid by the tenant to IRAS and get the stamping cert. Read More
