Hi, I have a question.
I'm an SC but my partner is a foreigner. Can I still purchase a resale flat? If can, will there still be any grant given?
For example, the first-time buyer, stay close to parents etc.
Any up to date information on these will be much appreciated. HDB website is confusing

Thanks

Hi,

You may purchase using either Single-Citizen scheme or Non-Citizen Spouse scheme, because you mentioned here as only partner.

If he/she is a spouse of yours, than you left with Non-Citizen Spouse Scheme.

Under Single Citizen scheme you will entitled to some grant, whereas using Non-Citizen Spouse scheme, you are not entitled to any grants.

Hope the above answer to your main concerns, but if there are more queries, please feel free to contact me at 90110636  , or email: ling.ck7@gmail.com if more information is needed.
I'll be glad to assist.

Good afternoon,

If you are still single, you can purchase resale HDB unit under single scheme if you are above age of 35. You will then be eligible for single grant.
If you are married, you can purchase under non-citizen spouse scheme. The housing grant is also applicable in this case.

Do feel free to contact me for further discussion.

Hi,

If you're legally married to your partner, you will be eligible under Non-Citizen Spouse Scheme.

If you're Single, you will only be eligible to purchase under Single Scheme if you are above 35 years old.

Various grants are applicable to you, provided you meet the eligibility conditions set.

Should you need any further assistance in matters relating to property, please contact me at my mobile 9748 6305  . I will be happy to assess and share with you the possibilities for you and your partner in the current market.

Thank you.
