HI, I currrently have a 4rm HDB flat which i purchase directly from HDB 7 yrs ago..is a resale flat, i bought as first timer with my huaband. But when we purchase this flat we never get any grant from HDB because they say it already very cheap so no grant.But now we thinking of upgrading to a new DBBS or a new EC.. so are we still entitle to get a grant from HDB??

Evening Serene,

Grant for resale flat is equivalent subsidized price for units purchased directly from HDB. Hence to purchase new DBSS or EC, you will not be entitled to housing grant. However, you are not required to pay levy either.
