You can purchase resale hdb once both of you reach SPR of 3 years. However, you need to sell away your overseas property.

For resale EC, how much cash to top up depends on the loan amount you can get. Thanks and look forward to value-add to your housing plans further.

If you are buying resale HDB, current regulation require that you disposed of your oversea property. You canpurchase pte condo or resale EC without such restriction.

Good evening Peter,

You are eligible to purchase a resale HDB just that you will have to dispose off your overseas property within 6 months from completion date.

If you will like to hold on to it, I will recommend you to seek for waiver before committing in an unit.

In addition, both of you must be SPR for at least 3 years before you can ink on the option to purchase.

As for purchase of private property, with your annual income, you should be able to obtain max loan of $700k for 19 years. Along with your CPF OA funds and some cash, you should able to afford a decent size unit depending on the location you prefer.
