hi, i am presently not holding to any property, i am a SC and my wife a SPR. how much must i pay for the stamp duty if i buy a resale private condo of 900K?

Hi,

If its your 1st matrimonial property, you can apply for ABSD remission so that your stamp duties are 3% approx. Approval is based on case by case basis. Thanks and hope to assist with your plans further.

Hi Mr Lim,
If you are the sole owner of the property, only pay 3% for stamp duty. Else will be 3% + 5%.

Hi Mr Lim, if this is going to be your first property purchase as a couple, then it will be only 3% with no additional stamp duty involved. Else, as long as there is a PR ownership, stamp duty payable will be at 8%. Pls feel free to let me know if you need any assistance.
